Why people fail in online marketing

Peple fail in online marketing, because of

a) a lack of knowledge
b) a lack of focus
c) a lack of strategy

 To start a business online is a daunting task and it requires a certain degree of knowledge. If you don't have this knowledge, then you need to acquire it. That's where the dilemma for most people starts. They purchase a quazillion information products and try to fit the fragments together. But instead of getting a clear idea, what it is all about, they find themselves completely overwhelmed and confused. As a result they get defocused.

Once people loose focus, they start with all kinds of meaningless activity, in order to feel busy and worthy. But their action will not bring them towards their initial goal of becoming free and independent. Rather the opposite is the case, they get busy like hell and their social life and self esteem suffer.


Clearly, people need a strategy. They need to get proper information and a blueprint to follow. But who is going to give it to them? It takes an experienced mentor to help a novice to succeed. There is no way around it. 

Now, if you don't know anybody, who could help you, then there is a way to find somebody:

1. Join internet marketing forums. Just remain an observer. Read threads, study opinions and look out for people, who are respected by the community. It's an indicator, that these people have earned their respect through bringing value to others.

2. Join a network marketing team. Usually network marketing teams are there to help their member to learn the skills of efficient marketing. They provide trainings and support. It's does not really matter, which opportunity or which team you pick, as long as you are just there to learn the skills. But if you want to start earning money, then it is important, to select an opportunity and a team with a proven track record.
